The purpose of this project is to collect narratives regarding women's own expectations and experiences of childbearing and child rearing in the United States today.

Your participation in this project will involve one 1-hour interview about how you have been preparing for the birth of your child, including what kinds of activities in which you have engaged during pregnancy.

Your participation in this project will be an enjoyable and memorable experience and contribute to the production of knowledge by, for, and about women.
